Chiropractor
Brian S. Hunt, D.C.
Dr. Brian S Hunt is a graduate of the founding college of Chiropractic, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in science and a doctorate in Chiropractic.
While at Palmer he worked as a rehab intern, combining his fourteen years of experience as a clinical massage therapist with the additional instruction at Palmer.
Dr. Hunt feels his life’s journey led him to become a chiropractor. While in college to be become a professional opera singer, a career he maintained for 17 years, he was involved in an auto collision. This experience introduced him to the benefits of chiropractic and laid the foundation for his chiropractic future. Later when studying to become a clinical massage therapist, his instructors constantly encouraged him to pursue become chiropractor. As he continued to build a successful massage practice in the New York City, his patient’s echoed this sentiment, because Dr. Hunt always wanted to do everything possible to relieve a person’s pain.
Prior to joining Plantation Health and Wellness, he served as the Clinical Director at The Joint Chiropractic Weston, worked at Zitter Health Insights in market research, and for the North American Headquarters of Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover.
He currently resides in Fort Lauderdale with his rescued, grey, tabby cat, Fiona. In his free time, he enjoys the performing arts, biking, cooking and baking.
Lucy Rosario
Lucy Rosario was born and raised in New York. She is the daughter of immigrants from the Dominican Republic. Lucy attended school on Long Island. Her first job was as car insurance agent. From there she took a job as a dental assistant and found that to be her calling. During this time, she met and married her husband and best friend.
They have been married 26 years and have 3 wonderful children. In 2002, she gave up her job to be a stay at home mom. In 2005, she and her husband decided to move to Florida with their young family to give them a better future. Since being here Lucy has worked as a para-professional at Horizon Elementary School to be close to her kids for 4 years. Then she worked as a receptionist/concierge at Broken Sound Club for almost 10 years and now she works for one of the best chiropractors in Fort Lauderdale.
Lucy’s hobbies include gardening and making jewelry. Her passion, however, is helping others. Nothing is as rewarding as making someone else feel better.
Marta Khaleel
Marta Khaleel was born in Texas. Her family moved to good ole Miami Beach when she was 7 months old and she has been here ever since. Marta has three children, two girls and one boy. She also has a beautiful 3-year-old granddaughter who is the center of her life.
She was very blessed to be a homemaker for their elementary and middle school years and she was very active in all of their school activities including the school’s PTA where she was the Treasurer and also the President. In 2007 she became a single parent and had to get into the workforce. Marta started as a receptionist at a gynecologist’s office and went back to school to become a nurse. She worked at Cleveland Clinic Florida in the Uro-Gynecology surgical department and after a few years there she decided to move on to an administrative position managing three MRI offices along with a Chiropractic/Orthopedic office. That is the moment she found her calling, resolving all administrative issues as well as helping patients start their journey into wellness through Chiropractic. Marta has been doing this for over 10 years and there is never a day that mirrors the previous day. She is continuously learning the importance of Chiropractic in our everyday life. Marta is happy to be part of the team at Plantation Health and Wellness where we strive to help everyone live life to their fullest potential.
